Organist Edward Taylor is an excellent collaborator, coaxing from [Ely Cathedral’s] large instrument registrations that are always appropriate in colour and balance. He is also a fine soloist performing chorale prelude on Vom Himmel Hoch by Bach (BWV 738), Pachelbel and Garth Edmundson interspersed throughout the choral programme. His performance of the Edmundson is particularly brilliant.”
